Amelia Lily's hit music video "Blue" was released in 2012. Amelia Lily was born in Nantorpe, a suburb of Middlesbrough, to Aranka Bradley and Barry Oliver. In 2011, she took part in the British television show "X Factor", in which she took third place. After the show, Amelia signed a contract with Sony Music and Xenomania. On September 29, 2012 she released her first single, "You Bring Me Joy", which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart.
