MegaZot - Maxim Alekseevich Zotov (born December 10, 1993, Moscow, Zelenograd) - Russian rap / hip-hop author and performer.

From childhood, a craving for music was manifested, which led to the study of playing the accordion, guitar, singing in the choir, but no musical education was received.
The passion for hip-hop and rap began in his elementary school years: Decl's tracks and 50 Cent's music videos strongly influenced musical preferences. It was fashionable to dress "like a rapper", in which Maxim successfully excelled.

2008
He recorded his first track "New Year" at his home with a friend in 2008, having neither the knowledge of vocal recording nor the skills of writing music and poetry in his arsenal. The track was immediately uploaded to social networks, but received a flurry of negativity. Thus, we can safely say that the first "pancake" turned out to be a lump, but this was the beginning of his passion for writing his own songs. It didn't take long to think about the stage name - from childhood, friends from the yard called Maxim "Zot", and the prefix "Mega" was added a little later. This is how MegaZot started making their own songs.

2009
A year later, the young rapper had over 20 songs, some of which were dedicated to his soul mate. The musician's talent was instantly noticed among classmates, as well as school teachers, which entailed invitations to perform on the stage of his own and surrounding schools. In parallel, MegaZot participated in Internet battles, where it won several times. At the end of the year, the first mixtape album "MegaMixtape" was released.

2010
In 2010, he took part in the second Moscow competition "Let's Live" and became the winner in two nominations: "Your own director", 1st place, with an anti-drug video "What will you choose?", Together with friends; and "Creative", 2nd place, with the song "What will you choose?", which is the main theme for the video.

2011
The beginning of 2011 was marked by the release of the first solo album "Wet Lyrics of Gray Streets". The entire album was saturated with gray notes caused by a difficult period in Maxim's life. Changes also affected his appearance: the rapper style of clothing completely left his life - the classic style with elements of the club sphere replaced it, which is caused by Maxim's great craving for club music.
The first promo video "MLSU" was released for the album, in the middle of the year a video for the song "I am not you" was released.

[t'gmc]
In the interval from 2010-2012. MegaZot was part of the [t'gmc] group (TGMC), together with Sam1One (ex-DsAmi). During the period of their joint creativity, over 100 tracks were released, more than 10 performances were given, and the world heard their joint mixtape "From Moscow to Zelenograd". In 2012, the group disbanded.

2013
Currently, Maxim MegaZot is engaged in a solo career and is preparing to write material for a new album. A change in style can be traced in his work, which will mark the exit to a new level.
