Placebo's popular music video "Meds (Live At La Cigale)" contains a recording of the band's live performance. On October 30, 1995, Placebo's first single "Bruise Pristine" was released on Fierce Panda; the song was recorded on vinyl, and the band only got one side of the record, while the other featured Soup with "meltdown". Until the new year, a small tour of England continued with the groups Bush and Whale, and in early 1996 the group's first independent single, "Come Home" (Deceiptive records), was released, which settled in third place in the indie charts.
