Placebo's famous music video “Taste In Men” was released in 2000. Brian met Stefan Olsdall at South Kensington tube station. Stefan was studying at the Institute of Musicians at that time, a guitar was hanging behind him, and former classmates started talking about music. Brian invited Stefan to a concert he was supposed to do on the weekend. Brian says: “When it was over, he came up to me and said: 'I really liked what you are doing, let's try to write something together and see what happens.”
