"Gone Too Soon" is a ballad song recorded by Michael Jackson. The song was released for Jackson's eighth studio album, Dangerous, in 1991. A clip was filmed for the single, directed by Bill Dichikko, using archive footage of Ryan and Jackson, as well as footage of White's funeral. At the inauguration ceremony of US President Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson sang "Gone Too Soon", remembered Ryan and from the stage called on the newly elected president to pay attention to the AIDS pandemic during his term. The single became popular again after the death of Princess of Wales, Diana, and later - Michael Jackson himself.
