R5's hit music video “R5 on R5: R5trospective 2013” features a selection of the band's live performances. The R5 group consists of siblings born and raised in Littleton, Colorado (brothers Riker Lynch, Rocky Lynch, Ross Lynch and their sister Rydell Lynch), plus a friend from California (Ellington Ratliff). While living in Colorado, the children went to an art school where they learned to sing and dance. In 2008, Riker (older brother), at 16, decided he wanted to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. In order to fulfill the wishes of their son, parents Mark and Stormy Lynch moved to Los Angeles with their entire family. Four of the brothers became members of the dance team in 2009.
