From the very first days of the new team's existence, it was decided that the main principle of the existence of Eurythmics would be freedom from the need to compromise. Stewart and Lennox will remain the only permanent members of the duo, with other musicians recruited as needed and available. The duo also decided not to limit themselves to any stylistic boundaries - initially they will be a pop group, but will reserve the right to experiment with electronic instruments and avant-garde influences.
