The famous Eurythmics music video “There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart)” was released in 1985. The music video filmed for the song is one of a number of innovative and original video clips by Eurythmics. In the video, Stewart plays the role of the "sun king" of Louis XIV, and Lennox appears as a court singer trying to cheer the monarch. At first, Lennox does not inspire Stuart, but towards the end of the video he is delighted with the performance she has given. The song was a huge success, especially in the UK, Ireland, Norway and Brazil, where the single climbed to the top of the music charts, becoming the first and only Eurythmics single to achieve such success.
