The famous video Lisa Stansfield - "So Natural" was released in 1993. Stansfield was born in Haywood, Lancashire, UK but soon moved to Rochdale where she attended Redbrook School. In 1982, she first appeared on television on Granada TV's The Head of Light Entertainment, where she won a competition with the Human League song The Things That Dreams Are Made Of. The competition was produced by Johnny Hump. At the same time, Stansfield signed a contract with Polydor.
