Korn's video "Somebody Someone" is shot in the spirit of a bloody thriller. The video for the song was directed by Martin Weitz with extensive use of CGI effects and was similar to its predecessor, "Make Me Bad", also directed by Martin Weitz. The song became very famous for its live performances, and is a must-have for Korn concerts. Jonathan Davis says of the song: “The song was written at the same time as Trash. The song is about the fact that I need at least someone whom I can trust and whom I can love. At the moment I do not have such a person. I was afraid of people, did not open up to them completely. That's why I was so uncommunicative. The song was kind of a cry for help. "
