Tamerlan is the son of A'STUDIO guitarist Baglan Sadvakasov, who tragically died in August 2006. At the age of 17, Sadvakasov Jr. took the place of his father in A'STUDIO and in October 2006 he took part in the filming of the video for the song "I Love Still ...".
The director and operator of Tamerlane's debut video for the song "Vkusno" was Nikita Presnyakov, a friend of the singer and grandson of the Prima Donna of the Russian stage Alla Pugacheva. In his work, Tamerlane, who recently returned to Moscow after studying in England and the United States, is inspired by the style of Maroon 5 and Keane, but does not intend to imitate anyone. His music ranges from romantic pop songs to meditative soft rock songs with trip-hop elements.
