Градусы

The group "Degrees" appears in the "Discovery of the Year" nomination for two awards at once - and this is thanks to a single song. Perhaps this proves once again that the album thinking is finally being replaced by the single.

"Degrees" were formed in 2008 in Krasnodar - first under the name "Gradus 100". Longtime friends Ruslan Tagiyev and Roman Pashkov played in different projects for a long time before these, but then teamed up. The song "Director" was among the first to be written, but the group had to pay the club out of their own pocket for the right to give their debut concert, which took place on May 29, 2008.

The opportunity to get into the category of "discoveries of the year" at the "Gradus" appeared after moving to Moscow - there they were taken up by Alexei Kudryavtsev, director of the duet "Nepara", performing quite sophisticated adult pop music for our market. "Degrees" fully unleashed the potential of the song "Director" - for more than six months it does not leave the playlists of radio stations, a video was shot for it: in fact, this composition brought the group popularity.

Whether it will be possible to keep it depends on the next singles. The group is preparing their debut album, but for now they have released their second song - "Who are you?"
