HIM's famous music video "And Love Said No" was released in 2005. In the summer of 2005, the band attended Download Festival again, along with Black Sabbath and Velvet Revolver. On September 26 of the same year, the fifth album Dark Light was released, which became the first HIM record to hit the Billboard. Dark Light peaked at number 18 on the Billboard 200, sparking a surge in interest in the band, bringing the previous album, Love Metal, to # 1 on the Top Heatseekers chart along with Dark Light. In the Finnish chart, Dark Light, like its predecessor, took 1st place for 20 weeks. At the same time, Finnish musician Jussi Siren and his band The Groundbreakers dedicated to HIM a bluegrass tribute album called Heartagrass.
