The famous video of the group Dances minus - "Horror" was released in 2004. Until 1992, the future leader of the group, Vyacheslav Petkun, performed in the Leningrad art-punk group Secret Vote, and also collaborated with the Korpus 2 group. Then Slava created his own group, which he called simply "Dances". Their first concert took place on June 10, 1992 at the closing of the season at the Summer School, which worked in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure under the patronage of the Danish authorities. The first performance of the group with the name "Dances minus" took place on May 8, 1994 in the club of the Humanitarian University at the festival "On the Eve of Victory", but the official date of the group's formation is April 1, 1995.
