Chris De Burgh's famous music video - "High On Emotion" was released in 1984. Christopher John Davison was born in Venado Tuerto, Argentina to a British diplomat and Irish secretary. His father's career has spun his family around the world - Malta, Nigeria, Zaire. When he was 6 years old, the family returned home to Tomhaggard in County Wexford, Ireland, where his maternal grandfather bought 12th century Bargi Castle and converted one of its wings into a hotel. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin, Chris decided to become a songwriter and took his mother's maiden name.
