The well-known clip of the Okean Elzy group - "I am before you" was released in 2001. Twice in a row (in 2000 and 2001) at the Tavria Games, the team was a laureate in the category "Best Pop Group". In 2001, the group recorded the best, in the opinion of many critics, album of Ukrainian rock music "Model" (on the day of its release, April 20, Shurov became the fifth official member of the group). In the same year, in the framework of cooperation with Pepsi, Okean Elzy toured Ukraine. At the Tavria Games-2002, following the results of 2001, two songs of the group ("Friend" and "911") were included in the list of the 10 most popular hits of Ukraine, and "Okean Elzy" was recognized as "The Best Rock Group".
