The famous video The Cardigans - "Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds)" was released in 2005. In October 2005, the band released their sixth album Super Extra Gravity, which was originally planned to be recorded in the spirit of the previous one, but during the recording process the band decided to work with Ture Johansson again, which influenced the final result - the sound of the album acquired a more aggressive character. Super Extra Gravity peaked at # 1 on the Swedish chart and has sold over 40,000 copies so far. After touring in support of the album, the band took a hiatus, during which a collection of hits The Cardigans - Best Of - was released.
