Amy Macdonald's popular video "Spark" was released in 2008. She started writing music and lyrics as a teenager. Her first song was The Wall, inspired by a poster hanging over her sister Amy's bed. Her first single, "Poison Prince", was released on May 7, 2007. Her debut album, This Is The Life, was released on June 30, 2007 and has sold 2.5 million copies. The second album, A Curious Thing, was released on March 8, 2010. Amy began her musical career at the age of 15, performing with Travis, Pete Doherty and The Libertines.
