Union J's new music video “Challenge Union J - Eggcelent Effort” was released in 2013. Union J first announced that they had signed a recording deal with Sony Music Entertainment during a performance in Cardiff, Wales on December 15, 2012. Their debut single, "Carry You", was recorded in London in January 2013 and released in June of that year, peaking at # 3 in the UK. In June 2013, fans were announced that the band would embark on their first UK tour of 18 concerts from December 2013 to January 2014.
