The famous clip Michael Bolton - "How Can We Be Lovers" was released in 1998. In the late 70s, Michael Bolton accepted the invitation of the hard rock band Black-jack and for some time was the lead vocalist of this group - despite the fact that Black-jack was produced by experienced Tom Dowd and extra-class master Eddie Offord, two records of the group passed almost unnoticed. Following the disbandment of Blackjack, guitarist Bruce Cuulik joined Billy Squire, drummer Sandy Genarro joined the Pat Travers Band, and bassist Jim Haslip became a session musician. Michael Bolton signed to Columbia Records and returned to his solo career.
