The famous video Beyonce - "Flaws And All" was released in 2007. Beyoncé Knowles was born in Houston, Texas to Matthew Knowles, a professional recording professional, and Tina Knowles, a costume designer and hairdresser. Knowles's father is African American and his mother is Creole (there were African Americans, Native Americans and French in the family). Knowles was named after her mother's maiden name. She has a younger sister, Solange, a songwriter and actress. At the age of 8, while auditioning for a girls' pop group, Knowles met Latavia Robinson. They, along with Knowles' friend, Kelly Rowland, were selected to join a dance rap group. The group was originally called Girl's Tyme and expanded to 6 members.
