The popular LUMEN video - "Go in the swing" contains a recording of the performers' concert performance. In 2002 the band released their first release on their own - the album "Live in Navigator club". In the studio of "Navigator" work was underway on the debut album LUMEN, it was recorded by sound engineer Vlad Savvateev. One of the songs from the upcoming disc, "Sid & Nancy", hits the air on Nashe Radio and becomes a radio hit: the song lasted more than two months on the radio station's chart. Following this, LUMEN received an invitation to Moscow for the Chartova Dozen festival. The first truly major performance goes off with a bang, and to this day the musicians consider this event a turning point in their careers.
