The popular music video Marilyn Manson - Lunchbox appeared in 1994. Lunchbox is the second single from the band's debut album "Portrait of an American Family". The lyrics clearly refer to a 1972 US bill that prohibited the use of heavy metal lunch boxes in schools due to the fact that schoolchildren often used such boxes as weapons, even though at that time about 40% of such boxes were metal. Marilyn Manson also stated that the songwriting was inspired by the story of one of his idols, Nikki Sixx. This clip is one of three in which Marilyn Manson appears without makeup.
