The famous clip The Ting Tings - "That's Not My Name" was released in 2008. The bad start forced White and De Martino to reconsider their views on their relationship with the music business. After forming The Ting Tings, they began playing at private parties at Salford's The Mill (the building where many local artists, painters and filmmakers are based) and soon became a cult following in the Manchester club scene.
