American synthpop duo Chairlift have featured a video for “Crying In Public,” a standout track from their recent album Moth. The clip, directed by Ellie Avital and directed by Carolyn Polacek, shows Carolyn's anguish as she makes her way through snowy New York.
As Chairlift themselves explain, “'Crying In Public' is about a moment that every New Yorker will know. You are overcome by experiences that seem colossal ... And then, thanks to the slightest gesture or word from someone who loves you, you suddenly stop and realize how beautiful the world around you is. Perhaps this work comes closest to the concept of "revelation" of all that we have ever written. "
