Il Divo's hit music video “Track By Track - Falling Slowly (Te Prometo)” was released in 2011. The quartet was initiated by Simon Covell, a British producer known for working with the Westlife team and participating in the American Idol TV show. Inspired by the joint recording of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman, he decided to create an international pop quartet, whose members would sing like "three tenors" and look like "Armani" models. The casting was held in Spain, Switzerland, France and the USA - each country selected one participant: Spanish baritone Carlos Marin, Swiss tenor Urs Buhler, French pop singer Sebastien Isambard and American tenor David Miller.
