Tim Bergling is a Swedish DJ and music producer best known by his stage name Avicii. He also used the pseudonyms Tim Berg and Tom Hangs. Avichi rose to fame in 2010 with the singles "My Feelings for You", "Seek Bromance", "Blessed" and "Levels". According to Forbes magazine, in 2013, he was one of the ten highest paid DJs in the world with an annual income of $ 20 million.
Tim Bergling was born in 1989 in Stockholm. He began his career by remixing the theme song from the video game Lazy Jones, and later recorded his own track "Lazy Lace", which was soon released on Strike Recordings. His music has been influenced by Leidback Luke, Steve Angello, Tocadisco, Daft Punk, Eric Prydz and Axwell. After winning the Pete Tong Fast Trax program prize, Avici received many offers and in April 2008 released the track "Manman" on Tong's Bedroom Bedlam Records. In May of that year, he signed contracts with At Night Management and Vicious Grooves.
In the summer of 2011, British singer Leona Lewis presented the song "Collide", the instrumental part of which was an excerpt from Avici's track "Penguin", which he had performed at concerts since the end of 2010. No sampling permission was granted, and following a plagiarism scandal and threats of litigation, Lewis' single was released, listing Avici as a co-author. In the autumn of the same year, his single "Levels" became an international hit: in Great Britain, Austria and Germany he managed to enter the top ten, and in his native Sweden the DJ took the top of the charts for the first time. This track was also the basis for Flow Rida's song "Good Feeling", which was very popular all over the world and took the leading positions in the music charts. In DJ Magazine's 2011 rankings, Avici moved up from 39th to sixth place, and the following year entered the top three.

At the 54th Grammy Awards, he and David Guetta were nominated for Best Dance Recording for their collaborative track "Sunshine." In 2013, his track "Levels" received another Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording.

On March 28, 2014, Avicii was admitted to the hospital. Due to this, his concert in Miami was canceled.
