It was followed by the single I Should Be So Lucky and the debut album Kylie (1988). As critics noted, listeners were attracted by the singer's pretty appearance rather than the rather banal music. The Eurythmics became popular in the early 80s, after the breakup of the short lived The Tourists, with which Dave and Annie released 3 albums. Combining popular European electro rhythms with harsh melodies and thrilling lyrics, this album propelled the band to a resounding worldwide success, consolidated in 1983 with Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This). Jeezy is a very solemn rapper. The rest of American hip-hoppers mostly focus on how many bucks they have, what kind of girls they ride in limousines, and how long their trunks are. All this is no stranger to Jeezy - in one of his videos a black model even throws dollars into the camera - but there is also a certain sublimity in his work, which is not characteristic of tough guys from the black ghetto. It is achieved through pompous composer moves that would be quite appropriate in symphonic soundtracks to Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. However, all the orchestral parts of strings and winds are deliberately recorded on a synthesizer, which gives them some flavor of 90s music. And if you add a broken minimalistic R&B beat to this picture, you get a rather original arrangement.

Percussionists Uffe Saveri and Morten Friis were educated at the Danish Royal Conservatory, and, while still students, formed a duet, unpretentiously composing the name from the first letters of their names. At first, Uffe and Morten did not even dream of a career as a pop artist, recording their own interpretations of works by Johann Sebastian Bach (JS Bach), Frederic Chopin (Frederic Chopin), Bela Bartok and Steve Reich on marimbas and vibraphones. However, in 2000, their work unexpectedly caught the attention of DJ and producer Michael Parsberg. As a result, the track "The Bongo Song" was born, which immediately became a hit on radio stations and TV channels.
