Laureate and prize-winner of the New Wave 2011 competition for young performers, a young talented performer and composer.

Andrey Grizz-lee is a singer of the New Time, making music in a new style with elements of funk, hip-hop, beat-box, lounge.

Currently Andrey Grizz-lee collaborates with many famous performers and musicians. As a composer and sound producer with: Dima Bilan, Valeria, Lyubasha, Vladimir Presnyakov, Dominik Joker, Laima Vaikule, Tina Karol, Natalia Buchinskaya and many others.

As a musician and artist, he prefers cooperation with young and talented artists such as: world champion in beatboxing Vakhtang Kalandadze, ST, Rene, Ilya Kireev and many others.

The first single "This Music" has been thundering from everywhere since the beginning of the new year and is not planning to subside. The fresh air of the underground has come to the liking of fans of various directions, and Andrey's sincere and bright vocals have firmly settled in the heads of millions of listeners.

In the first 2 months "This Music" was in the first hundred of the most commercially successful tracks released in the last two years.

In 2011, the ROSSIYA1 TV channel offers Andrey to participate in a large television project "Hipsters Show with Maxim Galkin", where Andrey becomes a finalist.

But it all started with the fact that Andrey's talent was first noticed by his mother when he was only 3 years old. One day a friend of hers brought all Stevie Wonder and Queen's cassettes from America. They were heard so much that Andrey could sing any song by heart, up to the loss of instruments and improvisations.

“This is probably where my school started,” laughs Grizz-lee.

Soon Andrei began to study at a music school in the class of violin, piano, guitar, but he did not complete any course, as "there was no particular zeal to become a musician in the orchestra."

He began to study music more seriously at the age of 15. Then he liked Rap and Hip-hop most of all, which to this day are an integral part of his life and work. For a long time, he just rapped and hardly sang, honing the rhythm and presentation. But it soon became clear that I wanted something more - a certain melody. It was then that his first songs began to be born.

In 2004 Andrei entered the Institute of Contemporary Art, which he successfully graduated in 2010. While studying at the institute, Andrei never stopped writing music for a minute, each time adding his own musical finds to it.

Until now, Andrei Grizz-lee makes all the songs on his own. Often, music is born in his country house near the forest.
“It is Les that inspires me with its wisdom and harmony,” says Andrey.

In 2011, Andrey became a laureate and prize-winner of the New Wave 2011 competition for young performers. He not only performed well at the festival, but also collected the most prizes.

At the moment, work is underway on the first solo album. As Andrey himself says:

“It will be a surprise for everyone, since the music in it does not depend on fashion, trends and format, but depends on itself. It is unique, as it hits not only the ears of the listener, but also directly into his soul. In general, my main dream is for the whole world to hear the messages that my music carries! "
