Pixie Lott

Victoria Louise Lott received the nickname "pixie" (fairy) from her mother as a child, because she was a tiny girl. 5 years old, she began to sing in a church choir, and at 11 years old she received a scholarship at the oldest British acting school in Italy Conti. As a teenager, Pixie sang and performed roles in musicals and on television, gaining invaluable stage experience. Not surprisingly, producers soon noticed her - in 2007 she signed a contract with Sony / ATV Music Publishing, at the same time creating material for the first album. In 2009, the debut single "Mama Do" was released, which started at # 1 in the British singles chart - even the singer herself did not expect such a success of her song. The singer's second single, Boys and Girls, became almost as popular. However, Pixie's popularity has more than serious production support - RedOne (in his production assets - New Kids On The Block, Brandy, Lady GaGa), Phil Thornalley, who worked with Bryan Adams ), Melanie C, Ronan Keating, and Greg Kurstin, known for collaborating with Pink, Beck, All Saints, Flaming Lips, Kylie Minogue, and another "star girl" Lily Allen (Lily Allen). On September 14, 2009, Pixie's debut album, "Turn It Up", was released. Soon after the release of the record was followed by an intensive promotional tour, during which Pixie also visited Asian countries.
