Eva Simons

Since childhood, Eva, who was born in Amsterdam, was surrounded by music: her grandfather Johnny Meijer was an accordionist so famous that a monument to him was erected in Amsterdam; Eve's mom, Ingrid Simons, is a Creole by birth who worked backing vocals for The Supremes. To make music all the time, Eva dropped out of school - at the age of sixteen she was fascinated by digital samplers and music synthesizers, but to receive higher musical education she went to the Amsterdam Conservatory, which she successfully graduated in 2008. By this time she had already become famous as a member of the girl group Raffish. the 2004 winner of the Dutch reality show Popstars. But the group broke up in 2006, and after graduating from the conservatory, Eva began a solo career.

In May 2009, the electropop track "Silly Boy" hit YouTube and quickly gained popularity. Eva soon officially released a single on EMI. This song was followed by a number of others, mostly known for their live performances. On her Twitter and website, the singer promises to release a full-length album in 2010.
