Education

Music school (class of drums and percussion), then Tyumen Higher College of Arts - vocal department, studied there for one year, then transferred to the correspondence department of the Higher College of Arts in Tashkent, which he graduated in 1998.

Steps

Lesha has been on stage since he was eleven years old. At this age, he already wrote his first song and won with it in Samarkand at the regional stage of the "Morning Star" competition. Unfortunately, due to the difficult financial situation of the family, little Lesha Chumakov could not go to Moscow then. In 1995, Alexey and his brother moved to Tyumen, where he continued to make a lot of fruitful music. And the result was not long in coming. In 1997, at the regional competition "Voices of Europe +" in Kemerovo, Alexey won in three nominations at once - as a vocalist, composer and arranger. And at the Tyumen competition "Steps" for several years he wrote songs for young performers, constantly winning diplomas of the best composer and arranger. In 2003 Alexey Chumakov became a semifinalist of the People's Artist project. Since then, Lesha has lived and worked in Moscow.

Talents

Life did not spoil Lesha, so he had to start early and work hard. What was he not doing ?! From selling vegetables and fruits to all types of construction work. A versatile creative personality, Alexei Chumakov also began to show himself very early. While still at school, Lesha dreamed of music and stage, sang at school concerts evenings, independently learned to play the guitar. Along with this, he was engaged in basketball, kickboxing and took part in the performances of the school puppet theater. Early on he began to compose and arrange songs, and at concerts in the music school, the sprouts of the future inimitable entertainer and presenter began to break through. In Tyumen, in addition to a busy concert and touring life, Lesha hosts the Freaky Party program on local television, works as an art manager in a casino, writes poetry and prose, comprehends the basics of artistic (plastic) makeup, draws portraits, landscapes, avant-garde and even exhibits exhibitions. And we are absolutely sure that Alexey Chumakov will surprise everyone with another facet of his talent more than once, but the profession of a musician and showman will forever remain the main business of his life.

Movies

In Tyumen about Lesha, a documentary film "Remember Me" was shot, which included excerpts from concert performances and conversations about music and life. Also, Lesha wrote a script for a horror film with the working title "Dirt" (in the previous version - "Alien Sunset") , which was filmed at a film studio in Yekaterinburg. He acted as a co-producer and co-director of the picture, played one of the main roles in it and worked as a make-up artist - he applied complex plastic makeup to the actors (this is a musician's hobby). Alexey also wrote the soundtrack for the picture. The music turned out to be disturbing and tense, fully reflecting the main mood of the film in the horror style.
