Mitya Fomin is a performer and songwriter, director, producer and TV presenter. Laureate of the Golden Gramophone award and the Song of the Year festival, multiple nominee and laureate of the MUZ-TV and RU.TV awards.

Mitya (Dmitry Anatolyevich) Fomin was born on January 17, 1974 in Novosibirsk in the family of an associate professor of the Institute of Communications (father Anatoly Daniilovich) and a patent engineer (mother Tamara Pavlovna). The artist himself admits that he always knew who he would become - from childhood he "played an artist", sang to pop records. But before the artist's career began, there was the Novosibirsk Medical Institute, an attempt to work as a musician in America that did not live up to expectations, a return to his homeland, a move to Moscow, admission to the acting department of VGIK.

Mitya Fomin's musical career began in 1998 with the Hi-Fi group. The first songs - "Not given" and "Homeless" - instantly conquered the top of the charts and gave the band members crazy popularity. 10 years of work in Hi-Fi as a frontman, 4 successful albums with compositions that forever went down in the history of the domestic pop industry, thousands of concerts and millions of fans throughout the country - this was the result of cooperation with Hi-Fi for Mitya.

In 2009, the musician left the group and took up a solo career. The cycle of events awaited the performer at the beginning of his own path, however, determined the success of the singer and the further vector of development of his work, the release of the single “Everything will be fine” in 2010. The song rose to the third line of the official Russian radio chart, and brought Mitya his first Golden Gramophone prize (a little later this prestigious award will be awarded to the hit “Big City Lights”).

The video for the song "Everything will be fine" became Mitya's debut as a director. Since then, he has directed almost all of his works independently. In the summer of 2010, the artist's debut album "So Will Be" was released, and three years later the second studio album "Insolent Angel" was released.

Mitya Fomin continues to record songs that are released in support of the future (third in a row) solo album and will certainly become hits. Today, in the artist's professional and creative baggage, in addition to the success of his solo career - the career of a TV presenter on the Muz-TV channel - he leads the music ClipYou chart, his own project of the musical and circus performance "Everything will be fine", produced by the rapper StuFF, the groups "Vacation" and "Yena" shooting several films.

The artist devotes a lot of time and effort to charitable activities: he supports the events of the Life Line Foundation for the Rescue of Seriously Ill Children, the McDonald's campaign “Mac Happy Day”. In the fall of 2013, during a trip to Chechnya, where a series of his concerts took place, Mitya was awarded the medal "For Excellence in the Service", and repeatedly received gratitude for his contribution to cultural and educational work. Recently, she has initiated her own charitable projects, including the concert "Songs of Spring, Love and Victory", which will be held on April 22 at the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War and will be timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Victory.
