Sarah Connor
Singer and author Sarah Connor was born on June 13, 1980 in Germany. As a child, she sang in a church choir, and then studied at a music school, where she studied exclusively vocals. She had to earn extra money in order to pay for her studies.
At first she sang under the pseudonym Sarah Gray. Taking part in the choir at the 1997 Michael Jackson concert, she recorded several songs, including cover versions of famous hits of the past. However, she did not achieve much success and changed her manager and pseudonym.
Sarah Connor's truly musical career began when she was 21 years old, singing with musicians Rob Tyger and Kay Denar. A single with her participation - "From Sarah with Love" - rose to the top of the charts in Germany, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland and made her famous throughout Europe.
In October 2003, Sarah Connor released a live DVD titled "Sarah Connor Live - A Night to Remember: Pop Meets Classic", recorded on January 24 at the Alten Kasselhaus in Düsseldorf and featuring songs with a classical orchestra. In November of the same year, Sarah released her third album, Key to My Soul, two singles from which she became famous.
Sarah's next album, "Naughy but nice", became the first on the charts in Germany and was certified platinum. In March 2006, she recorded the soundtrack "From Zero to Hero" for the CGI film "Robots". The song became the top chart song in Germany for the fifth time and the fourth number 1 hit in a row.
In December 2005, the singer released the album "Christmas in My Heart". The following year this album was reissued, a new single "The Best Side of Life" was added to it.
In March 2007, Connor released her sixth studio album, Soulicious, which consisted mainly of songs from the 1960s and 70s and was certified gold.
Another album was released in August 2008 and was called "Sexy As Hell". The second single from this disc "I'll Kiss It Away" is dedicated to Sarah's sick daughter Summer. In 2010 Sarah's album "Real Love" was released.
