Филипп Киркоров

Philip Kirkorov, unlike many of his colleagues in the pop workshop, has a strong voice, but he does not follow the path of an opera singer. It is much more interesting for him to work as a pop star and a holiday person, while music in this "profession" plays a supporting role.

Philip was born on April 30, 1967 in the family of the Bulgarian singer Bedros Kirkorov (although for some reason in the film "Brother-2" he was named Romanian).

At the beginning of his own musical career, Kirkorov recorded several hits (Atlantis, etc.), but then fell under the creative influence of his muse, idol and future wife Alla Pugacheva. In 1994, a stellar wedding took place ("The drunkenness began to spin," - Alla Borisovna later justified herself). From that time on, the private life of the couple interested the public much more than her songs.

Nevertheless, Philip was still actively involved in various musical projects - apart from the lisping "My Bunny", remakes of the songs of Dana International and Tarkan, the clip "Mouse", filmed in the aesthetics of Marilyn Manson, appeared in his repertoire. In 1999 he got into the Guinness Book of Records for a monthly series of concerts in St. Petersburg.

In 2002, Kirkorov bought the rights and became a producer and participant in the Russian version of the musical "Chicago" - the production burned out, which made Alla Pugacheva very unhappy, who invested her own money in the musical. Another hobby of the artist was the Eurovision Song Contest. As a participant, he took 17th place there (the lowest in the history of Russia's participation in the competition), but then repeatedly returned to the competition as a producer of various performers.

In 2005, the marriage with Pugacheva was officially terminated. Kirkorov continues to tour actively, occasionally recording discs. In addition, he starred in several TV series, not without success, and shaved his head, which caused violent hysteria in the tabloid press.
