She was born on April 18, 1985 in the city of Kurgan.
From the age of 10, she took up music seriously: she rehearsed, performed. She participated and won a lot of music competitions and managed to study well. She left the music school and came to the vocal studio of Valery Chigintsev.
In December 2002, as the winner of a regular regional competition, she was sent to Moscow to the All-Russian competition held in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, where she won the Grand Prix.
In the winter of 2003 I came to Moscow to orientate myself before entering the theater or some other university at the PR department and saw an announcement about casting for the "Star Factory". She came on the last day of the selection before leaving home and was accepted.
Then the Moscow period began: work with Maxim Fadeev (also born in Kurgan), the final of the Star Factory-2 project, tours in 2003-2004, participation in the Channel One project “The Last Hero-5. Super game ”, invitation of the soloist to the musical of the MOST theater“ Airport ”.
In early 2006, Fadeev decided to create the SEREBRO project.
In March 2007, the selection committee of Channel One sent the Serebro group to represent Russia at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, where they took third place.
Then there were the tops of the charts with the songs "Song # 1", "Breathe", "Opium", "Tell me not to be silent", "Sweet", which brought numerous awards and recognition of the public and colleagues, the release of the album "Opium Roz", a big anti-crisis concert -presentation of the album "OpiumRoz", which gathered about 70,000 viewers.
In December 2009, rumors spread on the Internet that the lead singer of the SEREBRO group Lena Temnikova was leaving the band. One of the versions of the departure was an affair with composer Artyom Fadeev, the brother of producer Maxim Fadeev, who forced Lena to abandon further work in the group. On November 30, a casting for the vocalist's place was announced on the band's official website.
Since May 24, 2011 Elena Temnikova has hosted the detective-laf-show "Real Love" on the MUZ-TV channel.
On July 30, 2011 the premiere of the song "Mama Lover" took place, and on June 13, 2012 - the song "Boy".
In 2013, three videos were released: "Mi-Mi-Mi", "Little You" and "Ugar", which in a duet with DJ MEG was nominated in the "Best Duet" category for the "MUZ-TV 2014. Evolution Award".
In February 2014, the video "I won't give you up" was filmed, the song was also presented at the Big-Love-Show.
On February 14, 2014, Elena Temnikova announced that on December 3, 2014, her contract with the production center of Maxim Fadeev ends, after which she will leave the group "SEREBRO". On May 15, 2014 Elena left the "SEREBRO" group for health reasons. In the group, Elena was first replaced by ex-participant Anastasia Karpova, and then by the former participant of the show "Holidays in Mexico" Polina Favorskaya.
