The COPENGAGEN group was formed at the turn of 2009 - 2010. The date of the presentation of the debut album "OFFLINE", which took place on October 17, 2010, became the birthday and the starting point of the band's history.
In the period from 2010 to 2012, the group actively begins to conquer St. Petersburg with club concerts and performances at city holidays. All this time, the collective is constantly experimenting with music, trying to find an original sound and its own creative vector, while simultaneously gaining invaluable experience in club and stadium performances.
In 2011, the guys released their second disc "DREAMED ...". For the first time, it is on this album that musicians are not afraid to experiment with an abundance of synthetic sounds, combining them with violin, saxophone, acoustic solo guitar. The disc was recorded at the studio "INTER SOUND", and the sound-producer of the album was the famous St. Petersburg musician and sound engineer Sergei Navetny.
At the end of 2012, the group recorded two new singles "K&Q", and "Not in the Business", songs that became the first swallows from the album "MIR", which was conceived at the same time.
In the spring and summer of 2013, the group won several music competitions, became participants in the MAXIDROM 2013 festival, where it performs on the same stage with Simple Plan, HIM, 30 Seconds to Mars, becomes a support group on concert "Imagine Dragons" in Moscow.
Also in 2013, the musicians shot a video for the song "Not in the Business" and started working on the album "MIR". It was for this disc that the group completely decided on the musical concept, found its own sound, chose the policy of two front men and vocalists.
