Алексей Воробьев
Alexey Vorobyov was born on January 19, 1988 in a large family in Tula. Dad is the head of security at the enterprise, mom is a housewife. A student of the music school in the accordion class, Lyosha constantly participated in various competitions. Both as an accordionist and as a vocalist, he has always won prizes.
The only competitor to music was football - Lesha plays for the Tula youth team, becomes the top scorer, his team is the regional champion. But when the time comes to decide on a future profession - music or football, Alexei chooses music.
From the age of 16 he has been a soloist of the famous Tula folklore ensemble "Uslada".
In the spring of 2005, at the age of 17, he became the winner of the Delphic Games and received a gold medal in the Vocal category.
In the same 2005, Alexei came to Moscow for the all-Russian casting of the television competition "The Secret of Success" on the Russia channel and, reaching the final, he became one of the winners. This success becomes the very first and largest in the biography of Alexei Vorobyov.
Immediately after the competition, he moved to Moscow and entered the Variety-Jazz School named after V.I. Gnesins.
In 2006 he signed a contract with Universal Music Russia.
Since autumn 2006, Aleksey has been the face of the MTV channel and the protagonist of the 194-episode interactive MTV series Alice's Dreams.
In December 2007, in New York, at a meeting of the UN World Youth Council, Aleksey Vorobyov was elected Goodwill Ambassador.
During the year, Alexei's candidacy was considered at the UN headquarters in New York, after which he received an official offer to represent this organization in Russia. In recent years, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Alisha Keys and Justin Timberlake have successfully worked with the foundation. Alexey is the first Russian artist to receive this status. Lesha is also an ambassador and actively cooperates with the Dance4Life youth program and the UNICEF foundation.
Lesha himself writes the words and music of his songs, as well as soundtracks for the films in which he acts, and actively collaborates with cinema as an author and performer.
In the summer of 2008, Alexey entered the Moscow Art Theater School on the course of Kirill Serebrennikov.
Having started filming, Lesha undergoes serious physical training, is engaged in extreme driving, motor sports and on his own, without an understudy, performs even such complex tricks as a jump from the 4th floor and burning.
Today Alexey is one of the most popular media characters in his age category. He is the only Russian artist whose performing career is developing in parallel with that of a cinema actor - he has already more than 10 serious roles behind him, and the young artist does not intend to stop there.
