"Hands up!" Is a Russian pop music group. Consisted of Sergei Zhukov and Alexei Potekhin. In 1996, in Moscow, they met with independent producer Andrei Malikov. He became the director of the group and took care of its professional development. From that moment, serious work and serious success began. The group became known as Hands Up! and recorded the song "Student", which became incredibly popular, and then another hit - the song "Baby". The success was overwhelming. From that moment on, the group began to tour the country and abroad.

A few months later, the first album "Breathe Evenly" was ready. The songs "Baby" and "Student" are in the top ten of the charts of the Russian radio "Russkaya Gorka". In the spring and summer of 1997, video clips were filmed for these songs.

Later, the collective created its own music label "Dancing Men" (B-Funky Productions), which immediately began to release modern pop-groups "into the light": Turbomod, Boys, Revolvers, Shark, black singer Murphy.

Officially, according to the creators, the group ceased to exist in August 2006, but Sergei Zhukov, along with the Street Jazz show ballet, is still successfully touring Russia under the name "Hands Up", collecting sold out houses.

Now the group "Hands up!" intends to release a new album "Open the door for me" in October 2012. For seven years, the group has not released number plates, preferring to tour with old hits, but now Sergey Zhukov has decided to publish an album of new songs.
