Ай-Q
In the spring of 1998, Stanislav Kravchuk 's first performance took place in the Kharkov club "Meridian". After the first song of the young performer, the audience in the hall supported Stas with a thunderous ovation.
In November 1998, Stas becomes a member of the rap group "Perceptual Flaw". The following year, at professional recording studios, his first hit with this group, "My Illusion", was recorded. The song was a great success.
After that, the group began to be invited to numerous performances in the city's clubs.
In 2002, Stas leaves the "Vice of Perception" and creates his own group called "Etrido". The new group is successfully touring the cities of Ukraine and preparing its debut album "Original".
At the end of 2003, Stas begins work on a solo rap project Q Fast and joins the Black & White Family group. For the next two years he recorded Q Fast's first solo rap album, “C4”.
At the same time, Stas received his first award: at the anniversary international festival Rap Music 2004, where he was traveling as part of the Black & White Family group, Stas won the Best MC nomination.
On a sunny spring day in 2004, Stanislav comes up to the microphone and spontaneously records a reggae song. The finished track was named “I'm going home”. Stas took it to his producer for wiretapping, after which Alex gave the go-ahead to create a new solo project in the reggae style.
Stas, as Q Fast, in a narrow circle was called briefly simply “Q” (q). But for a reggae project it was necessary to come up with a new alias. Without thinking twice, Stas added the letter “I” (ay) to his short “Q”, since the Rastafari consider “AY” a divine sound that gives any word positive vibrations. But, so that visually the name of the project does not coincide with the abbreviation of the famous "IQ" test, the pseudonym was named Ay-Q. In 2006, the SOYUZ company released the first I-Q disc “Reggie FM”.
After the release of the first album, Stanislav continues to work hard at the studio, writing projects Q Fast, Black & White Family and, of course, his second solo album I-Q. It was completed in 2009 and was named Press to Play. But it was published only as an Internet release.
In the spring of 2010 in St. Petersburg, a video was shot for the title song of the third album “If I Will ...”. In the summer in Moscow, a video was shot for the rap version of the song "If I Will ..." with rappers Slim from the CENTR group and Strizh. And on October 25, 2010, a new solo album was released, under the name of the same title song of Ay-Q - "If I will ..."
Then the video clips for the joint song Slim feat. Ay-Q - "Wings" (2010), er.CHUL feat. Ay-Q, Archiban, Ra $ tafara, Deepo Istok - "My God" (2010), RusKey feat. Ay-Q - "Light in the Dark" (2011), as well as Mista YaMan feat. Q Fast - "In Da Babylon" (2011).
