Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger is known worldwide as an American singer and actress, best known for her singing career.

Nicole was born on June 29, 1978 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her father was Filipino and her mother was half Hawaiian and half Russian.

The young artist spent her childhood in Louisville, Kentucky with her family. There, she began attending a school of stage skills for children, where she makes her first successes. As a result, her love for performing arts makes her quit her studies at the university in 1999 for the status of a backing vocalist of the rock band "Days Of The New".

A couple of years later, in 2001, Scherzinger took part in the show "Pop Stars", which brought her a contract with the group "Eden's Crush". They released two singles, but luckily for the singer, the group's record company London-Sire Records closed and the group broke up. According to the singer, she felt bad in the team: "it was like hell."

But fate clearly loves the girl, and in 2003 Nicole Scherzinger is already the vocalist of The Pussycat Dolls! Among the members of the team, Nicole is the only one who also writes songs. For example, together with Cara DioGuardi, they created the sensational hit of the group “I Don't Need A Man”.

In the wake of the popularity of "The Pussycat Dolls", Nicole has recorded many duets. In 2005, she sang with Shaggy, Vittorio Grigolo and Will Smith. In 2006 she recorded the single "Lie About Us" with Avant and "Come to Me" with Diddy. Videos were filmed for both songs. In September 2008, together with The Pussycat Dolls, they released a new album, Doll Domination.

Scherzinger worked on her debut album from 2006 to 2008, thanks to producers like will.i.am, Timbaland, Cara DioGuardi and Brian-Michael Cox. First, the title of the album was announced "Her Name is Nicole", and the release date was 2007. But in the end, after long creative anguish and friction with the record company, in 2011 the fans were finally able to contemplate the singer's first solo album "Killer Love", which received good reviews, and the first single from the album "Don't Hold Your Breath" was headed by the British chart. From May 2011 to the present, Nicole Scherzinger works as a judge on The X Factor show.
