Yves Larock

Yves Larock hails from the French part of Switzerland, where the cultural influence of its western neighbor is very strong. Like many French disc jockeys, Lyarok initially preferred hip-hop, but by the mid-2000s, when Yves was ripe for creating his own compositions, he was already fascinated by house saturated with elements of African and Caribbean music. His first album "Aiaka" went unnoticed, but his second single "Zookey (Lift Your Leg Up)" became a club hit and sold one hundred and fifty thousand copies. An important role in the success of "Zookey" was played by the fact that the track was to the taste of Bob Sinclar (Bob Sinclar). The Frenchman not only signed the song to his label Yellow Productions, but also recorded the remix himself, which greatly helped the further promotion of the single.

In addition to this, Eve entered the Africanism All Stars. This creative group recorded club dance tracks inspired by African music, and its members included Bob Sinclair, David Guetta and Joachim Garraud. The next milestone on the road to fame was the single "Rise Up", which attracted the interest of dance major Ministry of Sound and licensed to his division Data Records. Like "Zookey", the track has been re-released many times on compilations and even sounded in films.

Lyarok himself, who finally embarked on the road of pop music (in his tracks, dance rhythms were combined with R&B and reggae, for almost every track, Eve invited vocalists from the outside) turned into a pop star. It was time to release albums. In 2008, Yves Lfrock's first long-play, also called "Rise Up", was released, and a year later Ministry of Sound and Universal released a second disc called "Manego". Iva has not yet managed to conquer the US pop charts, but in Asia and continental Europe his club pop found its listeners, here Lyarok's tours gather thousands of venues.
