![Alizée – <p>Alizée ([aliˈze], full name - Alizée Jacotey (French Alizée Jacotey); August 21, 1984) is a French singer, dancer and philanthropist.<br /><br /> Alize was born in the city of Ajaccio, on the coast of the French island of Corsica. Her father is a computer specialist, her mother is an entrepreneur, and Alize also has a younger brother Johann (four years younger). The origin of her name is associated with the French translation of the word "trade wind".<br /> From an early age, young Alize was addicted to music and dancing. Already at the age of four, she danced perfectly, and soon began to study dance at the Corsican dance school.<br /><br /> In 1995, at the age of eleven, Alize took part in a competition organized by the former French airline "Air Outre Mer" (now Swissair). Not going to the next stage of the competition, Alize returned to the stage of the "Beginning Star" a month later, sang a song by the Belgian singer Axel Red called "My Prayer" and won the competition. Moreover, Alize received her first music award “Meilleure Graine” as the most promising young singer.</p><p> Her victory in the competition did not go unnoticed, and soon the famous French singer Mylene Farmer and composer Laurent Boutonne, who were looking for a young talent with a beautiful voice to create a joint project, suggested Alize to start a vocal career. Alize agreed to work in a new creative team, and after several studio auditions, Alize's career as a songwriter began.</p><p> While Alize, after the release of her first album, in her creative image appeared to the public as Lolita with a sexy appearance and defiant clothes, in fact, Alize was "a modest quiet person and an ordinary urban teenager." Alize took part in these concerts in 2001, 2002, 2008-2012.<br /> Alize is married to Jérémie Chatelen, whom she met at the 2003 Eurobest awards.
