Adam Lambert (January 29, 1982) is one of the few mainstream performers who openly inform the public about his "rainbow" orientation. Adam began performing on stage at the age of ten. As an actor, he took part in various school plays throughout his studies. And the young artist got his first singing experience when he played in an amateur production of Arthur Sullivan's American opera "The Pirates of Penzance". Later, Adam began to sing in the school group MC Jazz. Even then, he was the pride of the entire school, and the girls referred to him as "Sweetie" ("sweet") ..
As he gets older, the singer becomes more and more interested in the musical genre. In 2005, he met producer Malcolm Welsford, who got Lambert to join the Broadway troupe. Among other productions in which the singer happened to take part is the musical performance Wicked, which is quite popular in the states.
But real fame came to the "sweet boy" when he decided to take part in the eighth season of the "American Idol" competition (Russian tracing paper - "People's Artist"). Having reached the final, Lambert almost wins the competition, but concedes gold to the cute heterosexual (and, by the way, the only married participant in the show) Chris Allen (Kris Allen). ...
Nevertheless, this does not prevent the artist from recording his debut album “For Your Entertainment” in the same autumn, which in just a month sold 198 thousand copies: for the era of the conquering Internet, this is more than an impressive success! As a result, Lambert was awarded the third place in the list of 200 best artists of 2009 according to Billboard.
