The collective was created in 1999 and even managed to play as an opening act for the HIM group, but after a short existence it was frozen until better times. ModeM's music is a modern wave of electro-soft rock with thoughtful and sometimes ironic lyrics. The bulk of the musical material was composed at the beginning of the 21st century, but began its public life a little later. The group's first album, Disconnect, was released to the public in 2016.
