Guf

Guf is a popular Russian rap artist.

Guf wrote his first track "Chinese Wall" at the age of 19. This track was recorded together with Roma (aka Marlin), with whom Guf studied in the same group at the Moscow State Pedagogical University. Lenin, and for the first time sounded on radio "2000". Then Guf had a creative break that lasted 2 years.

Guf has two higher educations: economic and linguistic (Chinese). In the 90s, he lived with his parents for several years in China and managed to study at a Chinese university.

Guf entered the hip-hop world in 2000 as part of the Rolex-x group, whose name comes from the names of the project participants: Roma and Lyosha. It was after participating in the group that Guf became known as the Rolex-X.

Guf often visited Rostov, so he is well acquainted with the Kasta group. One of the members of the Caste named Shym wrote the music for Guf's track "New Year", and Guf himself took part in the filming of the Caste's song "We take it on the streets." Since 2002, Guf has begun work on his debut album.

Many of Guf's early songs are dedicated to his past life, and it was these songs that became his "calling card" in the rap community, forming a specific new style. In the same 2002, with the song "Wedding", his collaboration with Slim began, who at that time was a member of the group "Smoke Screen".

In the creative life of Guf, there is another vivid character - his grandmother Tamara Konstantinovna, known to fans of Guf's work as Original Ba two xx. The whole country learned from the Gossip track that she was reading the newspaper Life. The song "Original Ba" tells about their relationship, about her character.

In April 2007 the album "City of Roads" was released. Guf is recording a duet with Rostov rapper Basta - a song called "My Game". In addition, the artist begins an active concert activity. On October 25, 2007, the album "Swing" by the Centr group is released, and a year later, on October 22, 2008, the second album "Ether is Normal" by the same group appears on the shelves.

In October 2008, Guf married a girl named Isa.

In 2009 Guf decided to leave the Centr group. He stated this clearly in his interview.

At the end of 2009, namely on December 1, Guf released his solo album "Home", which took first place in the 2009 voting among Rap.ru readers.

On May 5, 2010, Guf had a son. The young parents named the child Sami.

On November 18, 2010, a joint album of Guf and Basta was released, which has no title.
