The group "VIA Gra" always looks great, but it differs from the host of other girls' groups by an important factor that is rarely taken into account by other producers: "VIA Gra" produces very high quality pop music. Konstantin Meladze is responsible for the creative and repertoire component, who for more than ten years has kept the high bar set by the group's songs, and at times gives out real masterpieces. ...

The collective was formed in Kiev in 1999 by Dmitry Kostyuk and Konstantin Meladze. The latter by this time was known as a songwriter for his younger brother Valery — wonderful songs, but a little monotonous. The VIA Gra project allowed Konstantin to significantly expand his author's range. ...

The first line-up of the group included Nadezhda Granovskaya and Alena Vinnitskaya: in addition to notable music and a witty name, the project was distinguished by outstanding forms of soloists. In total, 11 participants (so far) have gone through VIA Gro: the change of soloists was almost always outwardly painless for the team. Instead of some beauties who were leaving to give birth or get married, others appeared, they sang no worse than the previous ones, Meladze delivered hit singles uninterruptedly (about two a year) - in fact, all these years, the existence of the group is based on a successful concept, which is little influenced by the personnel of the performers ... ...

Comparison of soloists is rather the lot of fans: for example, the trio of Anna Sedokova — Nadezhda Granovskaya — Vera Brezhneva is considered the "golden" line-up of VIA Gra. At the same time, the producers opposed the impersonality characteristic of long-legged girl bands: each member of VIA Gra appeared in at least one of 26 clips, for each they chose a certain image. It is not surprising that most of the ex-soloists stayed in music and took up solo careers (however, none of them managed to surpass the success of VIA Gra). ...

The group has released two English-language albums called Nu Virgos (2004 and 2007), but the main focus is on maintaining its high profile in the Russian-speaking markets. In recent years, the collective has refused to release number plates - more often compilations of the best songs are released with the addition of new ones. For the successful functioning of the group, two hits a year are enough: beautiful interesting video clips are shot on them, they are played for a long time on TV and radio. The tabloid press regularly delivers news about the next changes in the composition of "VIA Gra", Dmitry Kostyuk irritably refutes them.
