Стас Пьеха
Stas Piekha was born on August 13, 1980, in a "star family" under the sign of Leo. Everyone knows the name of his legendary grandmother Edita Stanislavovna Piekha and his mother Ilona Bronevitskaya. The current husband of the mother, Evgeny Timoshenkov, is a musician, Stas's father Petr Gerulis is a jazz musician, Stas's sister Erik Bystrov is an architect, interior designer. Stas's grandmother, Edita Stanislavovna, lost her father in early childhood, and then made a promise to herself to name her son Stanislav, in honor of his father, but she had a daughter (Ilona Bronevitskaya) and this male name was not destined to sound in their family. And so, when Ilona's son was born, the name Stas finally found its worthy owner.
Stas spent his childhood traveling on tour with his grandmother, while his mother was engaged in a solo career. At the age of 7, at the insistence of Edita Piekha, Stas began to study at the Glinka Choir School of the Leningrad Capella in piano and choral singing and began to bear the name Piekha. The fact is that the Piekha clan broke off due to the war, and Edita Stanislavovna decided that Stas should revive him. Stas received his further musical education at the Variety and Jazz Department at the Gnesins State Music College (which he never graduated from). Was expelled for truancy.
He was fond of psychology and bodybuilding. Now he is no longer actively involved in sports (only swimming and cycling).
In 2004, Stas successfully passed the casting and became a participant in the television project of the First Channel "Star Factory - 3". It was at the "Factory" that his first hit was recorded - the song "One Star", which was written by the composer Viktor Drobysh. At the very beginning of the project, when all the participants were filling out the questionnaires, Stas answered the question "With whom would you like to sing a duet?" wrote "with Valeria." And this dream came true - the song "You are sad" in a duet with Valeria was performed at one of the reporting concerts. At the "Factory" Stas Piekha sang about 20 duets. Thanks to Viktor Drobysh, Stas's dream came true - he sang the rock ballad "July Morning" with rock legend Ken Hensley. As a result of the competition, Stas became one of the three winners of "Star Factory - 3" and as a prize received the production of a solo album, shooting a video and a motor scooter. In 2008 and 2009, Stas Piekha was co-host of the TNT program “Cosmopolitan. Video version ". The singer's creative baggage includes 2 albums "One Star", "Otherwise"; 11 video clips ("Where will I be", "Parting", "About you", "Write to me", "She is not yours", "In the palm of your hand a line", "New Year's" "I am a leaf", "Me and you", " We parted with you ”,“ Old Story ”); thousands of touring kilometers, hundreds of concerts, radio broadcasts and filming in television programs; millions of letters that became his interview.
In May 2011 he took part in the music show project "Voice of the Country", the Ukrainian channel "1 + 1", as a star coach. The project started on May 22, Stas, together with Diana Arbenina, Alexander Ponomarev and Ruslana Lyzhychko, select, each to his own team, 14 participants from among the professional vocalists. The “trick” of this project was the selection of participants - “blindly”, focusing only on hearing, as the coaches sit in special chairs with their backs to the stage.
