South Korean-Chinese popular boy band formed in 2011 in Seoul, South Korea under the label SM Entertainment. EXO consists of twelve members, divided into two subgroups - EXO-K and EXO-M, performing music in Korean and Chinese respectively. Their name was taken from exoplanet - a term for a planet located outside the solar system.
