Five

Group Five is the second project of father and son Chris and Bob Herbert. The male version of the Spice Girls appeared in early 1997 after three thousand auditions nationwide.

Already in June 1998, the young group released their first album, thanks to which the young handsome men became the most popular group in the country, having received many awards. The commercial success of Five was also enhanced by the fact that they became the face of Pepsi.

In 1999 the single "If Ya Getting 'Down" was released, followed by the new album "Invincible".

The successful group also managed to enlist the support of the eminent musician, having recorded in 2000 a remix of the immortal composition "We Will Rock You" with Brian May of Queen.

But how strong and principled were the disagreements in the group and the problems with the label that the very popular group "Five" on September 27, 2001 announced its disbandment.

Of course, the band members embarked on a solo career: Abs Breen even released his debut disc, Abstract Theory, and Ritchie failed almost immediately.

It became clear to all the musician that only together they can become successful and popular again, and on September 27, 2006, the guys announced their reunion. Each of them wanted to develop, moving away from the frivolity and pop of "Five" during the nineties. They release new songs in a completely different musical arrangement: "70 Days", "Settle Down", "Are You?", "Taste It, It's All Good", "Not Coming Home". But the record company wanted to see the same group "Five", which was wildly popular. Due to these contradictions, on May 20, 2007, the group broke up again.

However, after so many years, in 2012 there was another rumor about a possible reunion of the group. Five fans are waiting with bated breath.
